What the browser can observe
hi.video asks for a live camera and microphone feed. On supported desktop browsers, you can also choose a screen, window or tab to record beside your camera. Your browser combines these into one video and sends the result directly to Cloudflare Stream when you publish. You can preview or retake a recording, but this product does not provide a video-editing timeline.
What this label does not establish
A browser cannot reliably distinguish a physical camera from a virtual camera, prevent filming another screen, prove identity, or establish that a video contains no AI-generated content. This label makes none of those claims.
A real-person check for your account
When account checks are enabled, new accounts complete a camera challenge before their first recording. We may request another check when there is a concern about account misuse. A completed account check describes live presence at that time. It does not verify identity or certify every later video as AI-free. Camera-check availability is shown in your account.
People still need permission and good judgment
A live recording can contain harmful or unwanted content. Recording provenance is separate from moderation, consent and identity verification.
